- Heavy filters, screenshots, or compressed images.
- Subjects hidden by shadows, glare, or busy backgrounds.

House photos
Choose a straight, bright exterior image with the house visible and not blocked by cars, trees, or deep shadows.
Pet photos
Use a close, well-lit photo where the eyes and face are sharp. Sitting or front-facing photos often engrave well.
People photos
Choose clear faces, natural lighting, and simple backgrounds. Avoid tiny group photos if facial detail matters.
Engraving limitations
Some details may simplify in engraving
Very fine lines, tiny text, low contrast areas, and dark shadows may not transfer exactly. Our goal is to preserve the feeling of the photo while keeping the final engraving readable.
Can you use a phone photo?
Yes, if the phone photo is clear, bright, and large enough. Send the original image when possible.
Can I send more than one photo?
Yes. Add notes about which photo you prefer, or contact support@evervainstudio.com for photo help.
Will I receive a proof?
Proofs may be available on selected products. If a proof is sent, please review it within 72 hours.
