Photo quality guide
Better photo references help create cleaner engraving, clearer portrait detail, and a smoother personalization process.
Natural light and a simple background usually work better than dark or blurry images.
Choose a straight, bright exterior image with the house visible and not blocked by cars, trees, or deep shadows.
Use a close, well-lit photo where the eyes and face are sharp. Sitting or front-facing photos often engrave well.
Choose clear faces, natural lighting, and simple backgrounds. Avoid tiny group photos if facial detail matters.
Engraving limitations
Very fine lines, tiny text, low contrast areas, and dark shadows may not transfer exactly. Our goal is to preserve the feeling of the photo while keeping the final engraving readable.
